OKAY, I will come clean. I have not watched Jameson Blake on Pinoy Big Brother like majority of his fans did. I discovered him in a film that was introduced to me by my friend – So Connected. The rest is history.
The moment I laid my eyes on him I was attracted – he had that very pleasant face that you would trust. The moment he smiled, I was floored. How can one individual have a stunning smile?
And so my quest to be a fan of Jameson began. I’ve watched him in all his films, and television series, even guestings too! So for those of you who are newly minted fans, here are the things you may not know about Jameson Blake.
Jameson as born as Jameson Andrew Blake on June 17, 1997 in Hong Kong to an American father and a Filipina mother. Jameson is a middle child and has an older brother and a younger sister. It was during the time when his parents separated that he moved to the Philippines with his mother.
Jameson started his career in showbusiness as a commercial model. He appeared in television commercials for big brands such as Coca Cola, Bingo Cookie Sandwich and Jollibee. With that exposure to television, he decided to further his career by auditioning at the most famous reality television show Pinoy Big Brother.
Although he did not win the grand prize, this exposure had served his door to other projects. After leaving the Big Brother House, he became a part of the all-male dance group called Hashtags, which is a regular talent by the noontime show, It’s Showtime.
His first television drama series was My Dear Heart in 2017. IN this fantasy, family and comedy drama, he played the role of Dr. Dominic Divinagracia alongside the lead actors Heart Ramos, Zanjoe Marudo, Bela Padilla and Ria Atayde.
He also landed roles in the judicial drama anthology Ipaglaban Mo: Hazing and Maalaala Mo Kaya (Boxing Ring, Ukulele, Dance Floor, Planner). He became a recurring cast in the sitcom Home Sweetie Home in 2018.
On TV, Jameson Blake appeared in A Love to Last and Ngayon at Kailanman as a protagonist to the Joshlia tandem. He also appeared on the digital series ‘Loving Emily’ where he was paired with Iza Calzado.
His film debut was in 2016, with the film 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten, acting the role of Maximillian Snyder. This coming of age drama film was written and directed by Petersen Vargas and JP Laxamana. James acted besides Khalil Ramos and Ethan Salvador. He also bagged the Best Supporting Actor role from Cinema One Originals that year.
He again worked with JP Laxamana in the film So Connected. He played the role of a young technology averted individual who eventually met his love interest with the help of technology. His leading lady in this film is the beautiful and talented Janella Salvador.
Jameson Blake’s diversed filmography include Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi, Haunted Mansion, Nay, Nabubulok, Hello, Love, Goodbye, My Lockdown Romance and Four Sisters Before the Wedding.
Jameson is set to appear in the new digital series My Sunset Girl with Charlie Dizon This is another reunion for the both of them as they had previously played as sweethearts in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya and also in the film Four Sisters Before The Wedding. The new digital series is set to premier on July 14 at iWant.
He is also set to appear in the drama television series Viral with Charlie Dizon, Joshua Garcia and Dimples Romana. This drama series revolves around the struggle the family goes through after a scandalous video of their eldest daughter becomes viral.
I just recently watched his film Four Sisters Before the Wedding and honestly he became more mature – facewise. Although I would love it if he gains a little weight, he is still as stunning as ever. Are you all excited for his new series? We have a few more days to wait, so let’s all cheer on Jameson!
