Marian Rivera-Heart Evangelista war is becoming a marketplace-like quarrel

BLIND ITEM: THERE’S no stopping this “showbiz couple” from getting married much, of course, to the consternation of the woman’s two children.

Without even guessing, alam naman ng publiko kung sino ang gagastos sa tiyak nang engrandeng kasalang ito, who else but the lovestruck female partner na sa kabila ng ilang beses nang pagtataksil ng nobyo, there she is, and will always be, a forgiving significant other.

Social status-wise, ‘di hamak na mas nakaaangat sa buhay ang babae who has holdings here and abroad. Lumalabas pa ngang parang subordinate lang niya ang kanyang boyfriend for a time, who now embarks on another field whose capital investment—for sure—ay galing pa sa kanyang nobya.

Like any high-profile would-be couple, most specially when the woman is wealthier than her partner ay karaniwan nang pinapipirma niya ang lalaki ng pre-nuptial agreement. This safeguards the woman’s sole ownership of all her acquisitions prior to their union, kung saan hindi entitled dito ang kanyang magiging asawa, but only to whatever conjugal savings/property that the couple may acquire since the period of their marriage.

Pero sa kaso ng “showbiz couple” na ito, ang lalaki ang nag-call ng pre-nup agreement. Good decision, nice move. Por delicadeza na rin ‘yon para lalong hindi mabuo sa isip ng publiko ang motibo ng kanyang pagpapakasal sa kanyang may-edad nang kasintahan.

NGAYONG ARAW INAASAHAN ang pagdating ni Heart Evangelista from her Brazilian trip with her boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga. Kung hindi kami nagkakamali, last Friday pa sana bumalik ng bansa si Heart.

Extended man ang bakasyon ng aktres sa bayan ng kanyang nobyo, this does not mean that the issue involving her and Ma-rian Rivera has pulled to a stop like her Manila-bound plane. Kung nagkaroon ng eksena sa Laoag Airport sina Heart at Ma-rian, isama pa sa cast ang ina ni Heart with a phalanx of law enforcers in tow as if there loomed a threat to national security, expect an even more heightened reinforcement.

‘Yun ay kung paniniwalaan natin ang umano’y banta ng kampo ni Marian sa buhay ni Heart, tapping on her fellow do-or-die Caviteños. All this time, however, GMA does not seem to lift a finger, bastante na ang film arm nito when it issued an official statement na naayos na raw nila kuno ang problema sa pagitan nina Marian at Heart.

Paanong naayos, eh, palala nga nang palala? And the mere fact that there’s obviously a total news blackout on the issue, na-resolve ‘yon nang lagay na ‘yon? Ito ba ‘yung damage control na sinasabing nagpahupa ng away nina Heart at Marian, damay na pati mga fans nila, if not their respective boyfriends?!

Yaman din lang that Heart is scheduled to come home today, marapat lang naman siguro that GMA should call both Marian and Heart at least for a closed-door, hopefully conciliatory meeting. Nagawa nila ito kina Marian at Bela Padilla represented by their managers, ‘di ba?

Sa totoo lang, this Marian-Heart war is becoming like a marketplace-like bangayan of nameless starlets involved in the cheapest of issues just to get talked about!

THE PRESENCE OF a staircase was TV5’s prime consideration in choosing the venue to hold the presscon for its newest dramaserye, The Sisters. Naunang mag-inquire ang events team ng Kapatid Network sa Manila Pen, but there had been a previous reservation kung kaya’t idinaos nila ang bale formal welcome event na rin ng bida nitong si Nadine Samonte at the C3 Events Place in Greenhills, San Juan.

Dressed in green and off-white drapes cascading down the stairs, du’n isa-isang bumaba’t ipinakilala ang buong cast ng kauna-unahang TV adaptation of a classic comics material by Rod Santiago with Nadine playing a dual role as Cristina and Bella Santiago.

TV5 is hopefully Nadine’s last stop in what may be regarded as a circuitous journey in her career. Galing siya ng Star Magic ng ABS-CBN, pero nakilala sa Starstruck ng GMA. At ‘eto nga, she’s now with TV5 reasoning out na kinailangan niyang lumipat for further career growth.

Sa totoo lang, I have never seen such kind of pampering accorded to a virtually new contract star tulad ng bonggang welcome ng TV5 kay Nadine. Hinanapan talaga siya ng angkop na materyal that would test her limitless acting capabilities, binigyan pa siya ng mahuhusay na direktor na sina Bb. Joyce Bernal at Argel Joseph. The Sisters premieres on July 18 after Bangis.

Ikaw na, Nadine!
